My office offers plenty of room for kids to play and moms to relax!
Moms enjoy taking a break and a breath while sitting on our comfortable couch. During our sessions, they can enjoy watching birds eat from the birdfeeder just outside the window. And the best part... they can enjoy a nice, uncluttered space that they never have to clean!
Kids have tons of play therapy options to choose from including arts and crafts, board games, Legos, Beyblades, basketball, and pretend play with superheros, the dollhouse, and toy kitchen. A favorite of many is making slime, which many parents choose to keep here until the kiddo's next session. There's even a hobbit home inside one of the cabinets with a comfy floor and lights around the ceiling for kids to hide out in! If you want to learn more about play therapy, keep scrolling for an introduction video provided by The Association for Play Therapy.
Let me know if you'd like to stop by and take a look around.
As adults, play therapy can sometimes feel like a waste of time or ineffective.
